About the Role

We currently have positions available for an experienced Lead/Principle or Senior Electrical Engineer and for an Intermediate Electrical Engineer (Building Services).  We have built a fantastic team and there is always room for more!  The successful candidates will be working collaboratively with the wider team to deliver a steady pipeline of exciting nationally based projects. The sectors we work in range from multi-high-rise residential, industrial, NPI, commercial, health, infrastructure, and education.

As our staff are required to attend health, aged care, education facilities, and construction sites, it is a condition of employment for this role, that the COVID-19 vaccination requirement is being adhered to in accordance with government requirements.

The role will involve:

  • Preparation of concept/detailed design documentation through to contract administration of new and existing projects within scope, timeframe, and budget.
  • Conduct Value Engineering (VE) exercises on projects.
  • Understanding of engineering modelling software (including CAD and REVIT).
  • Attend project meetings as a Project Team Leader and manage projects with all other services and disciplines.
  • Undertaking electrical service designs such as report and specification writing.
  • Understanding of NCC, Australian Standards, and all other code requirements relative to electrical services.
  • Problem-solving, critical and analytical thinking.
  • Contribute to the company culture in a positive manner.

Lead/Principle/Senior Electrical Engineer additional responsibilities:

  • Train and develop the Electrical Services team members.
  • Allocating tasks to junior staff and providing assistance where necessary.

To be considered for this role, you should be able to hold or demonstrate the following qualifications, skills, and experience:

  • Australian recognised degree in Building Services, architectural or electrical engineering (recognised by Engineers Australia).
  • Demonstrated experience working on projects within Australia, UK or Middle East.
  • Client consultation experience.
  • CPEng, NER, and RPEQ certification or able to demonstrate active progression towards membership.
  • Ability to liaise with clients, architects, and other members of the design team with clarity, confidence, and authority.
  • Ability to manage a high workload with multiple deadlines, while working without minimal supervision.
  • Prioritise and think strategically about timing and method of project information delivery and identify project resource requirements.

About the Role

We currently have positions available for an experienced Electrical Estimator. This role would suit an Electrical Estimator with 4+ years experience, however applicants with more experience may be considered.  The successful candidates will be working to deliver a steady pipeline of exciting nationally based projects.

  • First Principle Estimating
  • Developing accurate estimates for projects of up to $10m
  • Evaluating bid specifications and review plans and drawings

  • Obtaining and reviewing offers and quotes from subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers
  • Producing material take-offs

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to build lasting relationships with clients and suppliers.
  • Excellent interpersonal and negotiating skills.
  • Strong attention to detail, and accurate reporting skills.
  • Working knowledge of MS Office Suite with extensive experience in Excel.
  • A good understanding of business principles would be highly advantageous.

  • Be comfortable in a client facing role – dealing with clients in a professional and confident manner.

About the Role

We currently have a position available for an experienced Principal or Senior Mechanical Engineer with experience working in Building Services. You will oversee, manage, and mentor the Mechanical design team, as well as deliver a wide range of projects including preparation of concept design, detailed design, tender/construction documentation, and construction phase support within the agreed timeframe and budget. The sectors we work in range from multi-high-rise residential, industrial, NPI, commercial, health, infrastructure, and education.

The role will involve:

  • Manage the overall day-to-day operations of the business unit, including but not limited to, engineering, project deliverables, resourcing, variations, project invoicing, client relationships & mentoring your team.
  • Ensure projects remain on time and within the defined budget, ensuring continuous monitoring of the project gross profit margins and corrections where required.
  • Preparation of concept designs, detailed designs as well as tender/construction documentation in line with client requirements, project design brief, PPR and any other relevant documentation on new and existing projects.
  • Responsible for all Mechanical documentation that goes out, ensuring QA/QC is being performed on all deliverables.
  • Ensure you have a sound understanding of all applicable local authority and government specifications and requirements.
  • Ensure internal kick-off meetings are held for all projects and that your team has the relevant experience to deliver the projects in hand.

About the Role

We are seeking a brilliant Sales & Marketing Coordinator with an eye for detail. An enthusiastic, self-managed person, a person who likes challenges, thrives on problem-solving, and can manage multiple tasks and responsibilities at a time.

Some of the duties for this role include but are not limited to:

  • Creating social media content for our platforms following our style guide.
  • Reaching out to clients for information and approval of content.
  • Liaising with our internal teams to get information for content.
  • Updating social media platforms and websites.
  • Assist the sales team by keeping the CRM up to date and any ad hoc tasks.
  • Create marketing strategies to present to the Managing Director and Sales and Marketing Director.
  • Develop templates, documents, and presentations to a high quality for external use and internal KPI reporting.
  • Lead Generation for the organisation.
  • Reporting week on week, monthly, quarterly, year to date on all sales and marketing outcomes.

This is a new role to the business so would need someone who is happy to work in a flexible environment where the work direction may change from time to time.

The role is offered on a casual basis to start with working 2 days from our office in Perth.

About You

  • Knowledge of Engineering or Building and Construction industry.
  • 3-5+ years in Sales & Marketing reporting directly to Senior Management.
  • Relevant Tertiary Degree covering Marketing, Public Relations, or other applicable education.
  • Knowledge of SEO, PPC, HTML and CSS would be advantageous.
  • Ability to balance conflicting priorities and to work to deadlines.
  • Full understanding of KPI tracking and reporting.
  • Experience developing, implementing, and refining sales and marketing processes and strategies.
  • Proven marketing expertise across digital, social, PR and other channels.
  • Strong analytical, organisational, and creative thinking skills.
  • Knowledge of data analysis and report writing.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
  • Well-developed organisational and time management skills.
  • Courteous, professional and a team player.
  • Intermediate understanding of Microsoft Office Suite, with a willingness to learn new software and systems.
